A Memoir
Tin Can Lizzie
The Trials and Tribulations of a Life Escaped Through Faith and Freedom
She walked forward in faith and found freedom in Christ
What’s Inside?
Get to know “Tin Can Lizzie” and her secrets in the new book. Inspired by the stories of her late sister, Elizabeth Catherine Stupansky Seither, the author proudly shares her sister’s life, family, and escape to freedom and eternal happiness in this book.
She wrote this story to retell the amazing stories her sister shared with her during the last few days of her life. It tells bits and pieces of the challenges, trials, and tribulations they experienced and the big secret about becoming “Tin Can Lizzie.” Liz made Rita promise not to tell her secret(s) until their book was published.
You will love the heartwarming story I wrote about my sister Lizzie and our family as we grew up in poverty with our wonderful Parents, who were both DEAF.

About the Author
Rita was born on the east side of Cleveland, Ohio. Life was a lot different for her and her siblings, growing up with parents who were DEAF and that used American Sign Language (ASL) to communicate. Rita and her family struggled to survive in an impoverished world and endured many difficulties. TIME was the enemy in their lives because they had to struggle, wondering how they would have enough food to get through the next day.
